We booked ahead for a handicap accessible King room. The pictures are doctored to make the room look larger am more accessible than reality. The shower handheld is broken and does not conform to the requirement of the ADA. The shower chair is too low for an ADA requirement. The toilet only has one grab bar and no side transfer access which is required by the ADA. The sink is outside the bathroom behind the entry door to the room. The sink is not roll under for wheelchair access as required by the ADA. The hairdryer and towels and wash cloths are all outside of our reach sitting in wheelchairs. The maneuvering room in this room is nonexistent. It’s very tight and single file. The front desk does not have a lower stand or clipboard. I had to sign documents in the breakfast area. The front desk attend charged us an animal fee for service animal upon check-in. We explained he’s a service animal and is exempt from pet fees. We were charged anyways. We were also told the only handicap room is a pet free room when we first checked in. We had to reiterate the dog is a service animal and not a pet and that we need the handicap accessible room that we booked. The handicap parking is on a slope and there is a protruding curb cut into the access lane. All of which violates the ADA. This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.
